Complete EQUINE accessory package for DR flat panel detector
The complete equine package includes all the necessary accessories to enable the majority of equine radiology exams to be performed safely.
These accessories have been specially designed to function with refleX flat panel detectors (24x30 and 35x43 cm) and can be used by travelling veterinarians or in a clinic.
The package includes:
- A DR flat panel detector carrier
- A pole for the DR flat panel detector
- A hoof wedge and DR flat panel detector
- A support for the laden weight of the hoof (LM / AP) and DR flat panel detector
- A balancing wedge (for the 2nd hoof in order to stabilize the horse)
Each accessory can be ordered individually.
The DR flat panel carrier
The flat panel detector carrier is a portable protective case, which keeps your refleX flat panel detector totally secure.
This model also includes the “hands-free” system that we offer, in combination with our pole, hoof wedge and support for the laden weight of the hoof.
You can thus work rapidly and totally safely.
The hoof wedge and DR flat panel detector
In combination with the DR flat panel detector carrier, this unique system guarantees a maximum distance for the user from the x-rays, thus avoiding irradiation of fingers. The hoof support is radiolucent and doesn’t generate artefacts on your X-Ra images.
The pole for DR flat panel detector
The pole for the DR flat panel detector is equipped with a telescopic shaft.
In order to stabilize the refleX flat panel detector during the exam, the pole is provided with a 300mm support with adjustable height to ensure safety and comfortable working conditions.
The hoof balancing wedge (LM/ AP) and DR flat panel detector
The hoof balancing wedge (LM/ AP) and DR flat panel detector can be used in the horizontal position (latero-medial and antero-posterior) or turned over in order to provide a 5° tilt angle to guarantee the maximum comfort for the horse.
The assembly adapters of the flat panel detector support enable to work hands-free.
